Hamilton is much smaller than Auckland, but there are still many places worth visiting and playing. The distance from Auckland to Hamilton is about 125 kilometers. Hamilton has parks, gardens, caves, zoos and museums, which are well worth a visit. Hamilton is a town that combines the charm of a country town with the culture of a big city. Hobbit Village
The filming location of the popular spin-off of the Lord of the Rings film series, The Hobbit trilogy, is still loved by fans around the world and has become a popular tourist destination. It is about a 40-minute drive from Hamilton and a day trip is recommended. You will spend a special time as if you have entered a fantasy world.

Waitomo Firefly Cave
This place is famous for its fireflies. You can take a boat down the stream in the cave and watch the starry sky in the cave.

Redwood Forest
